Paint Correction
Paint correction may sound new, but it’s simple. Most “scratches” people see are really swirls and wash marks in the clear coat that scatter light. That’s why paint looks dull in the sun and hazy under parking lot lighting
Paint correction is done through machine polishing, using compounds and polishes to refine the clear coat and restore clarity, gloss, and reflection.
Paint correction can be done in different levels depending on the paint and your goal, from a lighter improvement to a more intensive correction for heavier defects.
Once the polishing is done, most people think the car is “good to go.” That’s the mistake. Correction restores the finish, but it doesn’t protect it. Protection is what preserves the results from UV, road film, and normal wash contact.
Ceramic Coatings
Ceramic coatings are one of the biggest upgrades you can make to your vehicle’s protection. Unlike a traditional wax that sits on top and wears off quickly, a ceramic coating chemically bonds to the surface to create a tougher, longer-lasting layer of protection.
Ceramic coatings are known for being extremely hydrophobic with self-cleaning properties. Water sheds faster, dirt and road film don’t stick as aggressively, and regular washes become easier. They also provide UV protection from harsh sun exposure and help reduce water spots and staining over time.
On average, a ceramic coating can be up to 4x stronger than factory clear coat, helping your finish stay glossier, cleaner, and better protected for the long run.
